The majority of public EV charging stations in the UAE have been installed by the local electricity utilities such as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and the federal electricity utility, Etihad Water and Electricity. To utilize these charging stations, please register as a customer on DEWA website or follow the steps on their charging stations to avail their guest mode feature. To utilize those charging stations outside of Dubai, find out more information on Etihad Water and Electricity website. Other non-government installed charging stations are available for use across the UAE. However, they are required to operate as per the local regulations within each Emirate. The locations of both government and privately installed charging stations across the UAE can be found on Plugshare and Googlemaps.
